I wonder what the housing situation in Qatar was 100 years ago. What did they do for recreation? I'm conjecturing that tents and picking nits out of each others hair are reasonably close. Why did that change? Throwing all the good out and only considering the worst doesn't an intelligent analysis make.

Regards to you to.

True enough. We learned from corporate research that homogenous groups get along with few conflicts but at a loss of innovation, hetergenous groups create solutions but are volatile and are hard to retain. It takes all kinds to run a world.

"...but the world is a diverse place and some people mix better than others.

Some people mix better, so what. That is true in all cultures. I know some Americans that would rather suffer isolation that sit down and talk with a Muslim over coffee. Your characterisations of Muslims is flawed. If you get out much you are probably mixing with more than you know. Not every muslim woman wears a burka, not every man rides a camel and wears a turbin. Some have actually learned to read, some even speak clear English. Some probably play with your children at school.
