Yes, my response was a little too emotional and should have been less inflammatory. Yet the "guts" of the response is my opinion. The opinion stated does not or should not change the approach to fixing the current problems. I want to go on record to state that I'm against "bailing out" anyone. Whether they be the largest brokerage firm in the land or the smallest mortgage holder. There are plenty of solutions which may cause pain to some but won't create a financial panic or a disruption of the markets to the extent where a recession/depression is the final result of the actions. Recessions will come and go but I don't believe we need to force one in order to get through this situation.
