I remember one day at our private club that a guy with his young son wanted to ignore the siren and go play. The pro kept telling him nobody goes on the course until I get the all clear and the guy said well if I ignore you and just go play just what are you going to do? He said I will have your membership revoked and it won't be refunded, nor will your stock purchase, I will call the sheriff to arrest you for trespassing as the course is closed but more importantly I will call child welfare and tell them that you are deliberately exposing your son to the possibility of being struck by lightening and we shall see what they think of that. Guy was rather slack jawed but all of us were wondering what kind of dumb ass plays golf in lightening and more importantly wants to bring his 8 year old son to play with him.
