hubris- 'They take education of the bright minds, yet ignorant of certain areas. They encourage the mediocre, exonerate the strong and educate the weak. They are more like the markets than one believes as they are about psychology.'

What a pompous windbag.

You sound like Hillary Clinton with her- 'it takes a village' speech.

To hell with educating the weak. We're all adults here. I say let Darwinism rule. The strong survive and the weak shall perish. That's the law of the markets AND the law of the jungle.

Hubie you just don't get it do you?

It's not about education.

LTCM had the smartest guys in the room.

So did all these hedge funds with the black boxes that just blew up. They were loaded with MIT, Stanford, and Harvard MBA's and Phd's. And the same with the subprime lenders and derivative players- no shortage of educations there.

It's not about education Hubris.

It's about Darwinism and as Slider calls it- 'being doomed by your own DNA'. There are plenty of smart people with good educations here on SI. It's not the education that's lacking- it's the street savy.

Some have it and some don't. Personally, I think you're either born with it- or, your not. I'm not in that group- i don't have it. Well, maybe a little. But, I'm not that smart, and I'm not that educated. But, I've been around long enough, and I'm honest enough about my own short-comings, to recognize those who are.

That's why I'm here.

And you know what else hubie? You're leaving the most important thing out.

And that's that no one owes you jack-shit here, because it's free! You aren't paying anyone for anything. Hell, you and I haven't even paid for a damn SI membership. At least I don't bitch about someone not giving me enough nipple to suck on, or a free handout.

If you want a free education- guess what? Go to the F'n library and read book.

Thats the problem with people like you hubris. You have no shortage of opinions and answers when the markets are moving straignt up and any asshole can throw a dart and be right. But, when the going gets tough- and only the strong survive- and you find yourself hiding under the desk with the rest of the herd- then you want a F'n education!?!?

If you REALLY wanted an education- then you'd shut the F'k up and listen and learn.

You and the other bugs who like to bitch al lthe time- dont REALLY want an education- you just don't want to be left naked to the world for being just another dumbass who got caught holding the bag- again.

Ron

This tread is the same as Mad Money, many think the host is a joke but just as many feel the need to be led and will swear by the likes of Slider and Cramer.

I think that rather than preach banalities, you go back to your regular station at NRS and just follow the windbag, pompous, braggard Isopatch into trading oblivion occasionally relieved by a few penny gains on some obscure penny stock. Remember to say "KaChing".
