Like Bob Graham in 2004. He actually read all the intelligence reports before voting, but he never got anywhere cause the media thought he was too focused on insignificant details.

More importantly (and sadly), it's those who run the press who will do the bulk of the choosing for us. A revolution in the big press will not occur until a revulsion of the big press occurs amongst a vast cross section of the American people.

I just see too few lights on in the attic to have any hope of that for a number of years at a minimum. Perhaps when the debt bubble and the various bailout and prop-job schemes die off, people will *begin* to reckon with reality. I just have this feeling that we'll go down the same road as Germans post 1945, awake and bewildered but no sense of how nor why they got to that point nor much desire to gain any understanding (which would be painful at best). Just pick up the pieces and move on and try not to think about it too much because a clear view diverges so dramatically from the fantasy they've maintained of themselves, their society, their business leaders, and their gov't.
