The two parties are both big spenders and seek to buy votes...

And let's not forget federal spending. Whether Republicans or Democrats control Congress and the White House, federal outlays continue to skyrocket. No prescription for long-term fiscal solvency will ever succeed without spending restraint.

LIAR. The Federal deficit has soared to all-time highs under Bush. The false measuring system used to put out phony "good news" on the deficits was exposed by USA Today's headline a few months ago. It stated the real deficits are being kicked down the road a la Enron accounting, so they explode like a huge balloon payment once Bush is out of power. USA Today stated the real deficit could be 500% higher than Bushie economists are claiming. And we have already seen too many times how Bushies corrupt the various departments to use them as GOP propaganda and dirty tricks tools. That's why Gonzales just stepped down. He's guilty of doing that at Justice.

The real Bush deficits will reach 7-13 trillion, depending on whether his tax cuts for the rich continue. The debacle in Iraq alone accounts for one trillion in new debt. and Bushies have lowered the tax rates on rich corporations and individuals so they are no longer shoulder their share of the burden.
