Beauty pageants are probably mandatory in South Carolina

Along with cotillion and coming out parties.

I think they are part of the school curriculum here in Texas. Pageantry 101- how to walk, sit, and apply makeup. We produce beauty queens in bulk.

Maybe little Miss S.C hadn't taken 102 yet. How to respond to inane questions. She did try to work in "save the world".

Maybe she is really very bright and had a lot of politically incorrect responses go through her head that sidetracked her("All the maps are in English and no one speaks it any more" or "The schools are too busy reading Johnny Has Two Daddys") In fact, if she had added a a slight tone of sarcasm to "because a lot of people don't have maps", it was pretty funny.

You are right. Beauty pageants are probably mandatory in South Carolina.

lol...

i personally believe uh, by now most U.S americans are accustomed to pageant contestants such as the blondness because some people out there in our nation don't have the, uh, education such as the zimbabwe and other means to build our pageant future up!
