The last two posts of mine covered it in detail but I will try to be concise on what we do or don't disagree on.

We don't disagree that the texts and doctrine she and others have posted are used by radical extremists to justify terrorist actions. I agree 100% that this is where it comes from.

I and the majority of Muslims in the world believe that targeting innocents is a sin and that using text from authentic Islamic doctrine to justify targeting innocents is a corruption. In order to see how those doctrines have been corrupted you have to check into the context of the doctrines and then it becomes obvious what has happened. Several people have suggested Nadine do that. But at this point it has become obvious that she knows more than most about it but is still choosing to represent the corrupted doctrine as the authentic position for all, not some percent, all Muslims. And that anyone who argues with her about it is an apologist, practicing taqiyya.

Propaganda is not merely being mistaken, it is knowing full well what the truth is and perverting it in a self serving way like Ward Churchill did, like radical terrorists do, and like Nadine does. Then lieing about people who try to have a rational discussion about the facts, like Nadine does.

She has also used at least one scholar recognized by Salafi radicals to substantiate her claim. Scholars in Islam are similar to clerics or Rabbis in that they are considered the most knowledgeable about the religion. They are not, however, considered infallible or any more blessed with goodness than any common man. Scholars representing different groups of Muslims often disagree in big ways. They can be, and many are, corrupt in their personal lives.
