AMEN BROTHER. I never missed a PTA meeting in my sons entire career and my wife was a study disciplinarian. Any grade less then a B was UNSATISFACTORY and less then an A DISAPPOINTING. As a result our son graduated near the top of his H.S. class and included AP courses nearly through his sophomore year of college. Of course he went to college on an Academic Scholarship, only costing us for his room and board. I noticed at the PTA meetings it was always THE SAME PARENTS, those with the best academic kids. The parents that really SHOULD have been there were no where to be seen. jdn

Bill Cosby has been saying that for some time, and so has Larry Elder. But it really doesn't matter what color or religion any of us are....It's what we do with what we have that counts. All of us can do better than we are doing, and that certainly does mean the kids too.
