Okay, do you mean a week of say appetizers for a summer picnic, or a tailgate party, with everyone participating with their favorite recipes?

If this is alright with you, how about this??? What a cute idea!
Here you go, and we have a winner..our first theme will be " Pirates of the Caribbean"..very clever. Bill will be taking desserts, but we'll need more than one with our crowd.

I'll take hor dourves..but once again, we'll need more than one.

Sure... do it at my place. I'll handle the main course, and the exotic cheesecake dessert. Y'all just fill in some side dishes. Theme will be "Pirates of the Carribbean", so bring some ... greens or shrimp or whatever... and I guess rum-based dishes could be appropo ... and maybe an eyepatch, swords, bustierres or other period-costume corsets by any name ... the usual.

It's Fall season, so I'll have to bust out the Pumpkin Spice + Maker's Mark Bourbon Cheesecake. Though amongst all the fine accroutements previously mentioned, it may be difficult for that dessert to make a comparative splash! I'll try my best. As options go, me in the "Fall Pirates" corset is probably not where, well ... I'll stick to the dessert recipe.

"How about a theme night dinner...with say at least five courses?"
