<<Everybody agrees that blowing up Jews in pizza parlors is totally Islamic>>

This is about as moronic as saying that blowing up Protestants in pubs is totally Catholic. Something that someone sitting behind a keyboard in charming Vermont could be easily suckered into believing.

Count me out of your generalizations when you claim to be speaking for "everybody".....please!

Nadine, you are just terrified of Islam becoming a unifying force among ME Muslims, a force that will overcome their petty bickerings. This comes from your concerns for Israel, not any real danger to the US.

"This has very little to do with the state of the Modern Middle East, where you can go from major Islamic scholar to major Islamic scholar without finding dissession on the topic of suicide bombing."

You may feel free to go to any of those expert 'sources' and tell them to kiss my ass, feel free to join them.

Speaking only for myself as always.

"You have no right to blow up innocents; further, it is definitely a contradiction and an hypocrisy to do it in the name of Islam. In the same sense, you have no more right to blow up the body that GOD gave you, for such a demonstration, than you do to blow up others. Both actions are abominable."

Best regards,
Gem

Salafi Islam is backed by Saudi oil money in a wide spread proselytizing campaign that has been going on for 30 years. Fact. As a result, Salafi Islam is taking hold in places it didn't used to be in, like Indonesia. Fact.

All the more treason (sic) to attack Iraq, eh? To stop all that Saudi ally SUV oil money from going to terrorists. Was that your brilliant idea? Maybe if we attack Iran, it will stop the Saudis.
If that doesn't work, we could attack Canada to stop the Saudis; they have more oil than people, and it is close to home.
