Eric,

I was just reading up on the E90 in the forums at my-symbian.com. In general, I'm pretty encouraged by what I'm reading. I like that Nokia has fixed the problems with the keys making marks on the screen, found the microphone component problem, and added (or will add) A-GPS. It does appear as if Nokia is addressing various issues on the E90--just as they are, tweaking the N95. I just wished that Nokia would improve some aspects of the UI in the E90--to better take advantage of the keyboard; maybe they can address this in the context of a broader UI strategy.

In light of the imminent launch of the US 3G version of the N95, I am definitely going to hold out for a US 3G version of the E90. By that time, I expect a more mature E90 firmware version, as well.
