They don't worry about nuclear Iran cuz we guarantee their security in exchange for...gasp...oil.

They worry plenty, wharf, for the same reasons we do and Israel does. Because Ahmedinijad sounds like a Mahdist nut and might actually be one. The way power is actually shared by the mullahs is somewhat murky, but the top guy is failing and there are several contenders for power of Mahdist persuasion. These guys might want nukes for more than national pride.

Israel is in their sights, but not Israel alone. If you have forgotten the Shiite takeover of the Grand Mosque in Mecca in 1979 (80?), I can assure you the Saudis haven't. The emnity of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the House of Saud is long and deep. Never forget that the oil is in the Eastern Provinces, and the inhabitants thereof are Shia. Yes, the US gives SA protection but once Iran has nuclear ICBMs all bets will be recalculated.
