As a non-smoker, I say more power to her! I'm tired of breathing you smoker's second hand emissions. It shoudn't be you right to foul MY air, anywhere. You want to smoke, do it in your own foul house.

How do you feel about laws against spitting on the sidewalk or laws against littering?

What's the difference?

In my opinion smoking is worse than the other two because it's not just unseemly (like spitting and littering) it's also potentially unhealthy for all.
