I have to fast forward through the commercials. Sometimes they actually look interesting so I watch them, but I don't do that too often.

Hitting "3" then 3-sec skip, will immediately skip over 3 minutes of recorded material. If commercial break just under 3 minutes, then hit 10-sec replay button.

Have Replay, but since not HD, not presently using. Plan to move to bedroom when get 2nd HDTV.
