How come the best QX6850 score was using HD2900 cards instead of 8800GT(S/X/Ultra)? BTW, Theo did say he was using a new driver -- maybe the first one to support triple (or even quad) Crossfire on the RD790 chipset.

And seeing as Theo said there were "various platforms" floating around, I suspect it was the AMD demo platform with 4 PCIe slots. I think Doug probably got it right -- the score was using triple crossfire. A lesser-overclocked triple crossfire could beat the more-overclocked dual crossfire.
