Mathews did call him a hypocrite. That's to be expected. I didn't expect that he also thought that homosexuals were "sexual perverts".

It is not homosexuals that democrats have trouble with, it's hypocrites. Such a useful vice, as Democrats are declared to be immune to it by definition. Somehow when Democrats don't live up to their declared virtues - when the Kennedys are all for wind power but not in their backyard, for example - it never rises to the level of hypocrisy. and it's not just democrats - but most people. No, most people have the sense to remember than hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue. They'd rather risk the occasional hypocrisy than simply to have virtue abandoned altogether.

Why did the liberal Matthews call Craig a "sexual pervert" unless he thinks gays are sexual perverts? Do you think Craig's being gay means he is a sexual pervert too? BTW if you say yes, I won't argue with you. I don't believe for a minute its just the hypocrisy, its what the hypocrisy is about.
