Bloomberg: Nymex Natural Gas Falls on Outlook Supply Ample to Meet Demand

Inventories probably rose 43 billion cubic feet last week, according to the median response of 20 analysts in a Bloomberg News survey. Estimates ranged from 35 billion to 52 billion. Stockpiles of the fuel have risen on average about 61 billion cubic feet for this week over the past five years, according to the Energy Department.

``An injection above 40 billion cubic feet would continue to point towards the potential for natural gas inventories to reach all-time high levels by the end of the injection season,'' Jason Schenker, an economist at Wachovia Corp. in Charlotte, North Carolina, said in an e-mail. He forecast an increase of 43 billion for last week.
