It's proof that Theo is confused. Is it really that difficult to understand that 3dmark06 cannot scale as Theo indicated? Increasing CPU frequency by 20%, and GPU frequencies by 10% does not result in a 26% increase in a 3dmark06 score. Period.

Re: AMD is getting ready to unleash the Beastie. Great. Explains why AMD's sales and marketing officers are practically pushing one another over in an attempt to jump ship. Gotta love the fact that Henri Richard is now Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Freescale. He obviously thought his chances were better there - a private company with barely any growth - than at AMD at the eve of the Barcelona "Beastie". And he didn't even get a promotion, either. Just a lateral move. I'm sure he's counting his blessings. And who knew that Rick Hegberg would be right on his heels - another AMD Sales and Marketing exec (VP of worldwide sales, formerly of ATI)! dailytech.com They are practically knocking down old ladies on their way to the door.
