great piece by Dyson. my favorite line:

The aggregate biomass of the topsoil of the planet is not a measurable quantity. But the fact that the topsoil is unmeasurable does not mean that it is unimportant.

The more you read about climate models, the more they start to resemble the old joke about the drunk who looked for his car keys not where he dropped them but under the light, because the light was better there.

Lindy - that is a fantastic article (just dug it up, looking for something else).

A good balanced read on GW, from a reputable scientist. Worth reading again.
