i do find it fascinating as well, that libs seem to be coming out of the closet and exposing themselves<g> calling a person engaging in gay conduct a pervert

Gets me to wondering.

Is it:

(a) that Craig may be gay?

The libs, including Chris Matthews couldn't possibly be suggesting this, could they?

(b) that the incident happened in a public place?

Parks are public places also, and people sometimes meet each other in parks and later engage in sex.

(c) that the proposed sex was anonymous?

How many times each Sat. night do heterosexuals hook up in bars for one night stands and not remember the name of the other person the next day? [The "I'll call you syndrome"]

I think the bigger problem is the lack of judgment this shows on the part of Craig, both WRT likely seeking out anonymous sex in a public place [not the type of behavior we'd expect of our elected representatives], and also pleading guilty (likely in an attempt to keep it from his constituents, colleagues and family) and then changing his story and claiming innocence once the story became public. Not sure a person with this kind of judgment, or lack thereof, is one we want in the Senate.
