I don't think gays are willing to be constrained by "normal" lifestyles and choices. Have you seen what shows up at "gay pride" marches?

I've seen plenty of strange lifestyle choices by straights, and plenty by young people, and plenty by a lot of subgroups who are unwilling to be "constrained" by societal norms. A gay parade is a subset of the gay community. I hope people aren't judging straights by what they see at Mardi Gras either. There are all kinds of lifestyles- whether you are gay or straight.

I also see long-term committed monogamous gay relationships, couples who settle down in stable jobs, with homes, occasionally with children. People who give a great deal back to a community.

To generalize that being gay means the immoral lifestyle of people incapable of living a responsible life is just wrong. It can be your personal opinion, certainly, but it has no basis in fact.

Do you feel that you are knowledgeable enough about the subject to speak to the rest of us on what constitutes normal gay lifestyle? If so, please explain how you gained that knowledge. If not, please begin with an expression of your ignorance on the topic.
