Yes israel trying to avoid blame for the Iraq disaster.

But it will not wash IMHO.

Everybody knows Israel was the key force behind the Bush Iraq invasion.

I remember as the war was getting underway public opinion surveys showed that Israel was the only country aside from the US where the public supported the war.

In addition fanatic Zionist are perhaps the key force supporting Bush in his determination to stay in Iraq as long as possible.
