I am reading Beyond Glory. Some of the characters...........like John William Finn, Chief Ordnance Man, Naval Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, December 7, 1941.......are especially colorful and full of spit and vinegar. "Those God damn Japs, I should have hated 'em. Those bastards screwed up my nooky on a Sunday morning." "I was after love with my beautiful wife." I'm reading Newt Gingrich's "Pearl Harbor" Excellent read, but it for sure doesn't have the colorful dialogue of "Beyond Glory."
