You do know that to the youth of America, the (R) party is becoming known as the closeted gay/perv party? The voters of tomorrow!

" I'll wait while you and CJ accuse me of defending Senator Craig's actions ..."

Personally, I think the cops should have better things to do.

This one is only notable because it is so bizarre. In addition, it does point up the hypocrisy of many on the right who were so disgusted about the Craig revelations last year. The general consensus was that the rumors, even if true were irrelevant because they had no bearing on his job, are now howling for his blood. Of course last year it was right before the election and this year more than a year from the next election. So, now it is safe to be outraged.

Must be convenient being able to turn that outrage on and off when it meets partisan goals.

I don't care about his sexual orientation or what he does with consenting adults. I do feel a bit of schadenfreude when some one who votes so vehemently anti-gay, heck, has even made a career of such, turns out to actually be so...

Chris, > Too bad the cop didn't take it a little further!

Normally when some guy gets busted for soliciting sex, there would be complaints like "Shouldn't the cops go after the REAL crooks instead?"

But I guess there's an exception when it's a Republican politician who gets busted for doing just that. And a closeted gay one, too!

Apparently, you've never gotten solicited in a rest room. I have and its not cool. And this happens not just to adult men but boys as well. Is it the worst crime in the world? No but no one should have to put up with it. Is it infuriating that a homophobic senator has done all he can to hurt a group of people because he can't deal with his own inclinations in this are? Yes.

What's rather amazing is that all you can think about is that he's a GOPer and hurting the party, and not even begin to see the unpleasant consequences of his actions. This coming from the guy who thinks its bad if a man has sexual thoughts about a woman.
