I mean, all things being equal, there should be just as many gay Democrats as Republicans. Even closeted ones, since the places where being openly gay is anything but a political career ender are not all that numerous. Now Democrats have been found with a taste for prostitutes, although the diaper thing would have been new, or models. Heck, the most colorful story would be when what's his name was splashing around in a fountain with a stripper. But, especially lately, the Republicans not only seem to have dominated the infidelity category, but they also seem to lean towards a heavy kink factor. Monica's Mr. Microphone ploy just seems so prosaic in comparison... No imagination at all. Nowhere near as colorful as a Senator moonlighting as a male prostitute. You'd expect someone in a powerful position wanting to pitch, not catch.
