In other words, he has no problem with the US DEFENDING ITSELF, even so-called 'aggressive defense'... (for example: he strongly supported the attack on the Taliban in Afghanistan, and hot-pursuit of OBL wherever the Hell he goes!), but is opposed to dilatory, unproductive mucking about in other nation's sovereign affairs... CERTAINLY opposed to putting the American taxpayer in great DEBT over such counter-productive and ill-conceived business.

We've been stupid enough to try for a while now. All it does is get people pissed at us. Even if we COULD run the whole earth .. should we? I don't believe that we are at the place where we have any choice about "letting it happen." We simply do not and can not rule the entire planet.
