McCain spoke out on an interview with CNN. "My opinion is that when you plead guilty to a crime, you shouldn't serve. That's not a moral stand. That's not a holier-than-thou. It's just a factual situation."

I guess McCain didn't plead guilty to that Keating Five thingy ?

I would like to see Craig resign and the sooner the better. There's nothing to be gained putting it off.

I am certainly no lover of the Gay lifestyle. I am in the camp that feels its abnormal behaviour. However, even I think its really unfair to expect Craig to retire if he was otherwise a good Senator for his state. Frankly, what he was busted for I didnt even realize was a "signal" nor would I have thought propositioning silently was even a crime. To me this is just another example of how out of control our political process has become. jdn
