" As you can see from my first response, (you had no reply so I am offering more for your consideration) it isn't necessary to show me the source doctrines for Radical Islam's terrorist dogma. And you don't need to go to far to gather anti-Islamic cut and paste, as Nadine travels with an overnight bag full that she dumps on the thread quite frequently."..... If the root of the violence wasn't in the Quran and Hadith there wouldn't be a bunch of Imams teaching external Jihad." We have already discussed the problem of over simplifying the nature of violence as evil in and of itself. So I presume by that comment you meant evil violence perpetrated by heinous terrism, as in hate speech and attacks on innocents by extremists. It was my opinion on that premise you were responding too. Me: "Oh, I heartily disagree. The kingdom of heaven is at hand, if you seek it look within. On the other hand if you want to know where the evil of the world in your life could come from, look to the steps currently leading up to your chair. Likewise, radical Islam has its roots in the hearts of men, men with heinously evil hearts full of want for power, glory, real estate, broad-sweeping influence, or perhaps broads-weeping to influence." I was hoping that you would notice the nature of that post does not bolster the Islamic club while putting down the Christian club. The Kingdom of heaven comment is plagerized from a NT Jesus comment. The roots of evil comment is not too far off from what Jesus was quoted to have said, "The root of All evil is the love of mammon." Which implies to me Jesus' teaching says such roots are indeed springing from the hearts of men rather than from the books of men. You are welcome to speak for the Christian club but some would advise against forewarding amendments to its core doctrine. As I have said, evil can and is justified by the men who perpetrate it using the doctrine of choice, but when it is scriptural doctrine that by stated intent is supposed to bring peace on earth and goodwill to all men, then we can rationally conclude the evil and its manifestations in the world are rooted in the hearts of the corrupt men who are abusing such doctrines. Me: "The roots of goodness and evil are in the hearts of men, as a simple matter of being born into the human condition. However, you may find confirmation for both in doctrine and dogma where you wish and you may employ it as such and as you see fit. " Best regards, Gem
