Thank you so much for showing the (un)reasoned nature of your views. I don't know what version of history you are believing, but it has no relations to reality - but that's standard for the Israel-Must-Be-Wrong-Since-It's-White-and-Powerful-We're-for-the-Underdogs club. So never mind who actually did what when. Show us the color of your skin and the relative power dynamic. We know what to believe. Every country in the Mideast was created after 1920. Millions of people became refugees or were slaughtered by people who never bothered to try deals or compromise but went straight to massive violence. Do I hear you crying for the Greeks or Armenians or Kurds? Of course not, they picked the wrong enemies.

Is it ok for me to come up to Vermont and steal 1 percent of 1 percent of your land then, if that's what is deemed to be an acceptable amount by your measure?!?" A new voice of intolerance on this thread. Tell me how the entire 1% of 1% or whatever it is was stolen. Was it like the old west, men in masks shooting up the town? Did a motorized army roll into israel proper in the 30s and 40s and evict arabs en masse. Were there some shady deals made? Sure. Does this make your claim so? Nope. If what happened in israel before 1948 was ethnic cleansing it was the most peaceful ethnic cleansing in the history of the world--land being purchased, money changing hands--not at all what you make it out to be.
