I support Mexicans right to bear arms. They NEED guns to get rid of the serial corrupt elitist governments they've been inflicted with. Which is why the founders wanted US to have the right. The government KNOWS this, and anyone who's traveled in Mexico can attest to being searched, not for drugs, but for guns, by government troops on many occasions at random checkpoints. I wonder what the US has done over the decades to insure that Mexico has corrupt gov'ts in power 24/7. Of course, knowing Mexico they may have accomplished that feat all on their own.
