'This stuff makes me think about a major transfer of wealth....1987....1929....1990 Japan?'

Our dollar has lost nearly half it's value this decade. Yet so many pounce on how wealthy we are.. Bin Laden sitting in a cave knows the transfer has taken place already. Bernanke in a bind here.. Euro and Asia zone going to give back their recent gains by writing off all those bad CMO's while the dollar strengthens? Does Ben give in to his banker friends and trash the dollar even further as the offset?
