FYI an anecdote - A friend emails me 2 days ago asking about that Osama Bin Laden trade where a high number of index calls and puts were traded, old news here on SI but he just read about it. He was a realtor/mortgage broker in Miami until last year, then started currency day trading, he's 27, probably saw the infommercials about currency trading on late night TV. Never bought or sold a stock in his life. Then he calls me yesterday asking what broker I use because he wants to buy some Dow puts to diversify his trading. Said something about seeing a correlation with the EUR/YEN and the Dow. Makes you wonder about being short here
