I think both parties are full of fools and incompetents. But what gets me riled is how often we find that their "fellows" either knew of the bad behavior or had very strong reasons to believe the person was a bad actor. Yet they did nothing in advance. They don't police their own houses (or bathrooms) and after the fact everyone gets all sanctimonious. Before the public disclosure everyone is willing to use each other despite the likely evidence. For example, does anyone really think Romney's campaign had no inkling of Craig's issues before naming him to a high post?

Remember after Mark Foley's problem finally came public we learn about how much was known. Craig has been a closet problem for many years...and I highly doubt any of his fellow senators will be shocked (shocked, I say!) by these disclosure. They may only be shocked by the utter stupidity of his handling of it.....unlike Vitter, who repented properly and therefore can stay on the team.

It's both parties, for sure, but the republicans seem a bit more hypocritical about it due to the moralistic family values platform. The dems have always been more "tolerant" of odd bahavior. <g>

You're so obnoxious, I'm surprised your wife hasn't had the locks changed.
