Well, they wouldn't be doing it if the Idaho governor wasn't a Republican. Look at Vittner. Democratic governor, and the Republicans are silent. Despite his name showing up on the roles of every cathouse between Louisiana and DC. With the little notation "likes to be diapered" next to his name.

Now true, it might be relief over him being turned on by women and not men that has kept them quiet. But it sure looks like the Republicans have very flexible morals when it comes to politics.

Ted, my belief is that politicians really don't have private lives and shouldn't be expected to. Everything is up to public scrutiny.

If the guy is running on moral values, the public expects him to personally live by them.

If the guy is running on environmentalism, the public expects him to be a good steward of the environment.
