Tom,

I don't really know. To be honest, I haven't followed the details very well.

My limited understanding is that he fired a bunch of people because of their politics and not their competence after they weren't "cooperative" as opposed to other administrations that fired a bunch as soon as they came in (probably based on politics also).

Given that I'm not sure what kind of spin I got when I watched TV/listened to radio (Rush, Fox, Bill Maher etc..) I doubt I know what really happened.

I pretty much hate both major parties anyway. I am a libertarian. I just hate the left more. If the right actually governed as fiscal conservatives that wanted to shrink the role of government, keep a strong "DEFENSE" etc....I could probably deal with them. Instead they spend like drunken sailors, take their foreign policy directions from a combination of traitors that don't have ONLY US interests at heart, oil people, and religious fanatics that are trying to prepare the world for the second coming etc....

I see no hope for the left at all. I think they are mostly delusional, stupid, and weak in various combinations.

Very, very right, though Chavez isn't helping things by trying to extend term limits on his Presidency.
