I agree with much of that, except that mile wide Free Market blind spot must be addressed -- rapid corporate accountability for crimes against communities and Mother Nature, and also holding corporate officers criminally negligent for actions of the corporations.

The judicial process we have in place today does virtually nothing to enforce accountability and hence a free-for-all will fill the void of regulation. Without regulations, then profits can skyrocket by dumping environmentally destructive toxins in our air, lakes, rivers, etc. I don't quite see how the absence of regulation combined with personal human greed and soulless corporations leads to a economic nirvana.

I agree that much of what the agencies generate is layers and layers of conflicting and expensive guidelines. But we want to stop creating brain tumors, nervous system disorders, asthma, and mass extinctions. Exactly who is going to step in to do that? Do you think corporations give a hoot if they kill off 99% of all living things? Sure, if it affects their bottom line; otherwise, no.

How would the banking system work?

I would eliminate fractional reserve lending.
