>>Bush, in his 'I can do anything anyway I like" stance has announced his insane intentions to save the fat cats while claiming to help the little guys.<<

Which "fat cats" do you think are being saved?

I view these policy actions as part of a logical triage operation that will help some homeowners who can be saved, while facilitating the orderly foreclosure process against many others. Meanwhile, lots of "fat cat" investors exposed to toxic mbs waste are going to be burned to a crisp.

Cash intermezzo**: This answer my questions: where the money taken out fo the banks is going? It can be the case that this is a cash Intermezzo.
Eventually the pocket begins to scratch and this cash needs to move elsewhere.

**intermezzo: a short dramatic, musical, or other entertainment of light character, introduced between the acts of a drama or opera.

I expect the home owner bailout will be expanded to take care of much of what will reset in 2008 and 2009, and also the Dems will increase the size of the loans considered to help their "blue state" friends.

What might Ben B do to "sterilize" or constrain this cash injection ? Which elements will be announced - to help the US Dollar, and which elements will be quietly done ?

I think FED might have be a message like "no fed funds rate cut September 18" or "maybe ONE rate cut and that's it"

Personally, I have to figure out if my mortgage is nearing default, so I can get bailed out too. ;-)
