Say that it's a good idea to spend $100 billion to kill those responsible for 9/11.

Shouldn't that money be spent doing just that?

Instead of spending the money someplace else and saying that we are doing what we are not?

Iraq had little to nothing to do with 9/11. Blowing the shit out of them doesn't punish those responsible.

I'm very concerned that the US has decided to enforce US laws everywhere on the globe. We don't have the jurisdiction. It's very bad news that we seem to think that we do.

People being pissed at us generates recruits for OBL & Co. Perhaps we can kill them (globaly) faster than they can be recruited. I'd put a <g> on that .. but the reality is to damn ugly.

We need to find other methods that do less damage.
We need to stop inventing our own enemies.

"so, you would suggest the police should stop arresting criminals because the criminals just get pissed at them?"

The problem is that we don't have enough money or personal to police the entire planet.

Trying to police the whole planet depletes our resources and leaves us unprotected at home.
