that is how a decrepit democracy is supposed to work during end-game ala Roman Republic

and why not, it is after all for and by the people, and the people will then have been taught what to say, even if it involves hurting other people

and all will be per script ... implosion, evaporation, confiscation, redistribution, vaporization, revolution, dark interregnum, and monetary reset

Marx, a smart guy, is right once every so often, and the time is coming up for him to be right again

Ours CDO's Brady Bonds and we pay them all!!! No one came with sweet deals.

We exported capital hugely to pay. To a point the US industry said 70.000 americans were jobless for each billion we were sending in out. It is all in my unpublished book and back up by World Bank figures.

EP, thinking through the prospects siliconinvestor.com , and putting a line in the sand, I decided that I will not buy back the duplex in Bay Area for anything more than 40% of what I sold it for in April of 2006, and even when so, the property tax will have to be rolled back from the current 23k per annum back to 6k, else duplex will find me a buyer at 20% of what I sold it for.

The way it can all happen is firstly a 50% haircut on nominal price (100 down to 50), and then a close shave by currency devaluation of another 50% (50 down to 25), plus an additional 20% distress bargaining (25 down to 20).
