"Well, it WAS a good dream." It's STILL a dream that can, and should be realized. (It just DOESN'T require that that artificial nation stitched-together from three different old Ottoman Empire provinces called 'Iraq' stay 'united'....) The dream of a revitalized, free and Democratic and Capitalistic Middle East lies on the Other Side of Iraq's civil war --- after the Sunnis and Shiites in the region 'have at it' for a while... and the area gets rationalized around more sane ethnic/geographic groupings... and the venom of religious bigotry is spilled.
