The reason Mark Warner gave was to be with his family. I took it that he didn't think the timing was right for a run for the Presidency. However, he could be a VP nominee. You appear to be indicating there is more to why M. Warner is not running. If he has something significant, then it will come out in a Senate race as well as a Presidential race. Reg. Mark Warner vs. Tom Davis---------both draw from the same pool of people in Northern Virginia as it was the cross over Republicans that won the race for Warner. Those are also Davis's supporters. Of course Davis draws from the Democrats in No.Va. because he works with both parties although he runs as a Republican. jmho Maybe its time to run Ollie North again. A Mark Warner/Tom Davis from the two parties with Ollie as an Independent. Just brainstorming a little here as I am sure others are doing. mj
