MJ...When you do read the article pay special attention to the WATER issues. I believe it says China has 1/5th the water per capita that we have in the U.S. Considering all the problems over water we're having here, I can only imagine what's going on there. Parts of China are rapidly turning to desert. They did a beautification project not long ago that consisted of "painting a lot of rock covered area green". The water they DO have is being poisoned by industrial waste at an alarming rate. Apparently when they run the Olympics there they will have to try to schedule any long distance races according to the best SMOG conditions available.
