The allegation that Clinton raped women has as much credibility as Vitter dressing up in Diapers - it's just hearsay. Republicans getting caught doing kinky things does reveal a special sort of a cynical, calculating hypocrisy special to "Conservatives" however. I don't know if you saw "Jesus Camp" or not but the reverend Ted Haggard bashes gays and homosexuality in one part - youtube.com Then you got the great right wing intellectual Newt Gingrich having an affair while prosecuting Clinton for a BJ. My understanding is there is a higher rate of divorce and infidelity among Christian Conservatives than the normal population. Plainly there is something fundamentally disingenuous about the whole "Conservative" POV - basically it's unrealistic and involves all sorts weird self-denial. Someone like Barney Frank easily admits he's only human and subject to human like behaviors and foibles - while you got someone like Craig giving BJ's on his hands and knees in a bathroom stall while telling himself that doesn't mean he's gay the whole time. It's not surprising that Conservatives hate Frank and his openness - its the opposite of the kinky closeted "Conservative" sexual freak. Personally I'm throwing my lot in with those who live in the real world and can handle all it's complexities - comfortably - because inevitably its the liberals who have a more "real" POV.
