"Forget that there seems to be be a double standard in play here......Craig vs Vitter."

No real double standard. Craig is from a state with a Republican governor. So his replacement will be Republican. Vitter is from a state with a Democratic governor.

The Republicans will never let principle trump partisanship. The Democrats might not either, but the Democrats don't spend much of their time claiming that either...

Apparently, the rumors of Craig being gay have been circulating since he first came to Washington. His (R) buddies all KNEW he was a pole smoker, along with a lot of Dems. As long as they don't get caught in it, it's OK with our law makers to be gay.

If they're publicly out ,like Barney Frank, it doesn't even matter if their boyfriend is running boys, as long as Barney didn't know. But if they're (R) family values phony hypocrites, the jig is UP.
