'Stagflation -- does indeed seem to be our destination' And they can continue to get away with it only due to the kindness of foreigners.. How long can this last with long term rates this low? This country can't afford these huge deficits much longer but is it a matter of a few years or decades? Begs the question has to how much the USA as a percentage of global wealth or global GDP can shrink before we become viewed as an Argentina to the part of the world with the deepening pockets?
