Somehow you appear to want to conflate notions of "citizenship" with "understandings of humanity." News flash--they aren't the same.

And the US confers citizenship to those born here because of the unique circumstances of its founding--there was a dire need of population and workers. This was one of the incentives offered. Most countries don't confer citizenship in the same way.

A citizenship is a property right. It is silly to give property rights to somebody who happens to be born somewhere.

That's the olde style serfdom model of states and Kingdoms.

It's ridiculous that the huge array of assets which have been accumulated over centuries are simply given away to somebody who invades and has a baby while illegally occupying the country.

Citizenships, like other property, has value and should not be given away in lotteries or by other means. They should be sold. If the value of citizenships was recognized like share prices are, then better political decisions would be made.

If people saw their value declining with stupid political decisions, they would soon encourage their politicians to do something different; such as get a real job.
