If you can't even identify who you are supposedly 'fighting' then you are almost certain to fail. Bumbling around with a blindfold on (unable to understand or exploit the very real differences between Sunnis and Shia, Arabs and Persians, Turkomen and Kurds, etc.) is HIGHLY UNLIKELY to produce the desired and imagined results.... "know your enemy," (That's MY LINE --- it's what I've repeatedly said here, is the very point I'm making right now, and in my previous post... is what Sun Tsu taught as his most fundamental essential for success in war CENTURIES AGO....)
