I just got done scrubbing a very nasty pizza pan. This is a true story. Dan was coming in from out of the country, and his flight was due early afternoon when he had promised to take me out to dinner. So I didn't eat, saving my calories for something decadent, but he didn't come and he didn't come. His flight was delayed, and soon it was 5 and so I had a glass of wine while I waited and a slice of cheese. And then he got home, and he wanted a drink, so I had another glass of wine, and somehow we wound up not going out, probably because I couldn't find the front door by this point. So I staggered to the kitchen and found a pizza in the freezer, threw it on a pan, and baked it. Then I cut it and served it. Dan looked at me strangely and said, "Did you realize you baked this pizza upside down?" Well, no. I just thought it was a cheap pizza with not much topping on it. No more wine on an empty stomach for Rambi.
