They should just do away with the Fed altogether and let markets set rates. The temptation to blow bubbles and rescue everyone is apparently too great for all of these wussies....<NG>

Like they're gonna "solve" the current problem by cutting rates! Too loose monetary policy got us into this mess, the only solution is to purge bad debt. Which means a recession, BFD, not the end of the world....
